Welcome To Woodland Park Community Church
We're excited you chose to investigate Woodland Park Community Church and see what God is doing here. We are a church on an adventure... a spiritual adventure with God.

Our desire is to help you, whatever your background, to live life to the fullest. If you are looking for a dynamic Christian community where you can connect with God and others in making a difference in the world, your search may be over.

Whether you are already on an adventure with God or simply starting one, we welcome the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Our hope is that you will join with us in living life’s adventures together.

Why We Exist:
To positively impact the Teller County area and beyond by cultivating and nurturing Christ's likeness in everyone we come in contact with. Those who are becoming more like Christ:
  • embrace Christ as Savior and Lord
  • connect with other believers in a local fellowship
  • grow in their relationship with God
  • take part in a small group
  • serve in their areas of giftedness
  • give out of their God-given resources
  • develop loving relationships with non-believers
  • discover their life's mission...and pursue it with passion
What We Hope To Become:
To be an authentic community where people can experience God, be encouraged in their spiritual adventure, be empowered for service to others and entrust to others a legacy. Our Philosophy of Ministry As shepherds, the pastors are to lead the flock of God. They lead from a position of spiritual authenticity, integrity and servanthood or they forfeit their privilege to lead. At Community Church, the Directional Pastor is appointed to lead the church and be accountable to the Elders. The Bible designates that Elders are to be appointed to "be shepherds of God's flock serving as overseers." The Elders of the church are responsible for the spiritual welfare and leadership of the church. Together, the elders and church members, make the final decisions concerning the church. Doing God's Work Together We desire to be a community of God's people who are in the right places for the right reasons. We desire to be a church where everyone is serving in their area of giftedness according to their talents, skills, and passions. Community Groups Are Vital We believe every person needs a small group. Small groups can make a big difference in a person's life. The book of Acts records the impact and vitality of small groups. The early followers of Jesus drew together in community groups to grow in the Word, for prayer and fellowship, and for outreach to the community. What Guides Us
  • People matter to us because they matter to God.
  • Our church is to be culturally relevant and Biblically based.
  • Genuine worship can be meaningful to both believers and seekers.
  • Life change and loving relationships best occurs through small groups.
  • Pastors and church leaders mobilize, equip, and release believers to serve in their area of giftedness.
  • Excellence honors God and inspires people.
  • Biblical unity is affirmed by embracing the diversity within the body of Christ.
  • Global impact is a natural outpouring of a healthy church.
  • Our church should continue to grow until everyone in the Teller County area is a fully-devoted follower of Christ.
